First they came to tax those that make $2,000,000,
and I didn’t speak up because I didn’t make $2,000,000.

Then they came to tax those that make $1,000,000,
and I didn’t speak up because I didn’t make $1,000,000.

Then they came to tax those that make $500,000,
and I didn’t speak up because I didn’t make $500,000.

Then they came to tax those that make $250,000,
and I didn’t speak up because I didn’t make $250,000.

Then they came to tax me,
and by that time there was no one left to speak up.
