Happiness is . . . sleeping better than you have in a long, long time and waking up in the morning with a cat curled up next to you on the pillow . . . peaceful, and purring ever-so-softly. Not loud enough to wake you up . . . just enough to be a soothing melody.

That gentle, soothing sound is one of the greatest sounds known to mankind, in my opinion.
Cats are amazing creatures. No matter how sad, mad, or grumpy I am, my cats always manage to cheer me up.
