Thanks for stopping by. I am sick of cold weather. Thank goodness it has gotten a little warmer this weekend ... if we can just keep the storms from blowing us away. Hopefully it isn't too bad for you. We are under a Tornado Watch right now, and it looks pretty bad outside. The kitties went into "scramble and hide" mode at the first crack of thunder. They are hiding under the couch with just the tips of their tails peeking out. Keep your fingers crossed that it doesn't get much worse, or I may try to fit under there with them. :-) Talk to ya later.

I got an email from turbo tax saying the're refunding my money and also that they worked something out with the feds so my return wouldn't be marked late...
did you get the same consideration for your thousands spent?

There has been no mention of a refund yet, but at least they did finally acknowledge the problem and apologize ... ON APRIL 20th!!!! ... and, of course, they said they were working on it, and it would never happen again. (blah, blah, blah)

Thats better than, say, getting poked in the eye with a sharp stick, I guess. Lacerte has always been the Cadillac, but this year they really dropped the ball, and their lack of communication made it that much worse.
I am glad everything worked out for you Otta. :-) Things worked out, in the end for me too. I just wasn't expecting to still be dealing with it at midnight that night. Now the truely tough decision has to be made. Do we stay with them next year and hope that they correct the problem, or do we get a different program and spend the entire summer getting up to speed on it, just to potentially find out next year that they are no better? Stay tuned.
